Volunteers
I am frequently asked about opportunities for volunteering. I have taken on one or two from time to time if keen to learn about and work with llamas and it works well for the both of us. If you are interested in doing similar, are happy to muck in and are available on a regular basis, I would be happy to hear from you. Full training will be given and the right type of person given suitable responsibilities so as feeding, grooming, walking the llamas, Some tractor work if interested.
The Summer months are when the cria are born and provide a wonderful opportunity to experience the joys of nature first hand.
In the past, I have alsohosted prospective and actual veterinary students keen to learn more about camelids and gain experience in handling them.
